Severe thunderstorms are bringing damaging winds and hail throughout the Hudson Valley.
The rain could be heavy at times and could bring golf ball-sized hail. Gusty winds of up to 60 mph could bring down trees and power lines.
The storms are expected to clear the region by 10 p.m.
Thursday will see mostly sunny skies with highs around 84 degrees.
