Several more state-run mass vaccination sites shut down Monday, including Jones Beach State Park, the Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls, Plattsburgh International Airport, and SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica.

The shutdown comes as the number of New Yorkers looking to get vaccinated declines, but COVID positivity rates are starting to climb back up.

The state now plans on bringing vaccines to specific areas where the vaccination rate is lower than the state or countywide average.
