Police say a woman has died in a Hauppauge crash.

Police say the unidentified woman was driving a truck southbound on Wheeler Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle has been impounded for a safety check.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8452. 

Route 111 has reopened in both directions by Wheeler Road.
