A Mount Kisco security company is saving the jobs of their employees by changing its business strategy during the coronavirus pandemic.
Retired NYPD Capt. Peter Moreno says due to schools and retail stores closing, he has dispatched his security guards to health care facilities on the frontline of the crisis.
He says his company is also working at construction sites that were shut down.
Moreno says that Gov. Andrew Cuomo signing an executive order extending the expiration date of security guard licenses has been helpful to his business.
He says his Mount Kisco security business employs between 300 to 400 security guards.
