The search is still on for the men responsible for a daring home invasion robbery in Harrison. According to police, three men followed Frieda Schwartz and her husband home from the Bronx Wednesday. The three suspects then busted into the Schwartz?s home on Union Avenue at about 8 p.m. The suspects made off with cash, two pocketbooks, a necklace and a watch valued at $20,000 and allegedly escaped in the couple?s Mercedes. Because the suspects mentioned the victim by name as they beat him, police believe the victims were targeted. Authorities say this is the second time in a year and a half that the home has been robbed.?I was very scared because they hit my husband a lot. You have to see his face, it?s black,? says Schwartz. The town has offered a $5,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction. For more on the Harrison home invasion, go to channel 612 on your iO digital cable box and select iO Extra.
