The search continues for the mother of a newborn girl whose body was apparently dumped in a Mount Kisco storm drain last week. According to police, a Department of Public Works employee had just returned from cleaning out storm drains when he made the discovery. The infant, who police have named Baby April, was partly wrapped in a plastic bag and lying in sewer muck. The Westchester Medical Examiner's office has performed an autopsy, but have not been able to determine if the child was stillborn or if she died after birth. Mount Kisco police are asking anyone with information to 666-3855. Related Story
