A young girl who wants people to love reading as much as she does created a free public library of her own.
Anya Pathak, of Scarsdale, only wanted one thing for her birthday and it was a tiny library in front of her home where people can donate or pick up a book to read.
She said it will give people the great escape they need from the pandemic and will help children improve their grades in school.
Her inspiration was former President Barack Obama, who she wrote to a few years ago.
"He wrote a letter to me saying that a few ways to help the nation for a better tomorrow and help do better in my community and help out," said Pathak.
