One church in Westchester is getting a much-needed organ thanks to a generous donor.

After years performing on a digital keyboard, Church of Saint Pius X started fundraising for a new organ.

The pipe organ was built and installed by a firm from Vermont, for a price tag of $1 million. A total of $600,000 was donated by JoAnn Tursone, a Hartsdale woman who left the money to Church of Saint Pius X in her will.

Aside from the beautiful sound, the church hopes the organ provides a more enriching service for its followers.
