Dozens of solar lights are being sent down to the Saw Mill River to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Yonkers Development Planning Commissioner Wilson Kimball says there are 28 solar LED lights that change colors.
Kimball says the lights are eco-friendly. They are not attached to the ground, they just float in the water.
The purpose of the lights is to bring people together.
The Winter Lights will be available to view all winter long.
