Wednesday marks Ron Klain's first day on the job as the United States' Ebola czar.
President Barack Obama appointed Klain to the position last week.
Klain met with a group of White House officials Wednesday about the U.S. response to Ebola both here and over in West Africa.
The meeting comes as a West African passenger flew into Newark Liberty International Airport Tuesday night and checked into a hospital with a fever. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spoke out to the public today to make it known that there is no indication that the man has Ebola.
The information discussed in the White House meeting will shed light on what exactly Klain's job is as Ebola czar and what the U.S. is going to do about Ebola moving forward.
