The Rockland County Legislature voted Tuesday night to override County Executive Ed Day's recent budget vetoes.
Last week, Day used his line-item veto power to strike down 22 of 37 amendments made by the county Legislature to his $723 million budget for next year.
The Legislature restored 19 county positions that Day had eliminated.
