A retired Marine spent Memorial Day raising awareness among the veteran community by standing in salute for 24 hours.
Retired Marine Staff Sgt. Tim Chambers started the Memorial Day weekend tradition in 2002 by saluting thousands of Rolling Thunder motorcyclists for hours on end.
But this year marks the first time he did it for 24 hours straight, without any food or water, all to raise awareness about veteran suicide.
