A Tarrytown Village Board is asking for residents’ help to develop a comprehensive plan for community improvement.
The latest board meeting was held at Warner Library for residents to participate in the discussion about future changes and improvements in the community.
"We really want to have a plan for the future here that's going to be what the residents, the visitors, the employers, the workers here, what everybody needs for the best - for themselves and for the village going forward,” says board member David Aukland.
Suggestions ranged from concerns about the environment, to traffic on Route 9, to senior housing.
News 12 has learned that residents will have additional opportunities to weigh in on the discussion of the plan.
The board says a final plan is expected by next spring.
