Residents living in an apartment complex say they still can't shake the memory of raw sewage floating through their building.
The stench of urine and feces filled Whitney Young Manor Saturday after pipes backed up in apartments and hallways.
Residents say it's not the first time it has happened.
The building's management says the problem has been fixed, but residents would like to see more done to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Resident Francesca Gonzalez says the sewage problem happens at least once a year and sometimes more.
She says the sewage spills into their apartments and all through the hallways.
While the smell is mostly gone from the hallways, the grass around the building is still littered with used toilet tissue and coated in what is reportedly dried sewage.
