Doctors say residents in the Hudson Valley should take precautions as frigid temperatures hit the region again.
Dr. Wayne Abrahams, a physician at Sound Shore Medical Center, says if you start to feel pain or numbness, it's time to get out of the cold.
"The hands, the nose, the tip of the ears - those are the body parts that are most likely to first become affected," Abrahams says.
At a train station in New Rochelle, residents say they are waiting until the last possible moment to go onto the platform and face the frigid temperatures.
