Residents say the “Four Corners” section of Greenburgh is in need of major development and revitalization.
They also say the area floods when it rains, the traffic and parking situation is bad, and businesses move in and out, hurting the tax base and taxpayers.
Town leaders say they are now having serious discussions to rezone the area and want to bring housing and restaurants to create a greater sense of community.
Some residents say they're worried about more traffic coming into the area.
Most homeowners tell News 12 Westchester say that now is the time to breathe life into a struggling part of Hartsdale.
Town officials say this type of change won't happen overnight but they hope to see development within the next two years.
Any changes to zoning in Greenburgh have to be approved by the town zoning board.
