Residents along a White Plains road say their street is one of the worst in the state, and they're urging the city to get it fixed.

Saxon Woods Road is pock-marked with potholes, patches, cracks and crevices. Residents say they've complained to the city, but have only seen temporary fixes. The most recent patchwork was done about two weeks ago, one resident says.

Road work has begun on the Scarsdale side of the road, but just down the street across the White Plains border, residents say little is done. One resident who has lived there for 30 years says the Scarsdale side is repaved every two to three years.

White Plains officials say that pending the approval of funding, they city expects to resurface the road by the end of next year.
