Residents brave the cold temps at annual Turkey Trot in Port Chester
Residents braved the cold Thanksgiving Day for the annual Turkey Trot in Port Chester.
Usually, there are hundreds that show up for the event, but the bitter cold kept many people inside this year.
"I've done this in rain, I've done it in snow, I've done it very warm, but today is really cold,” says Denise Quinn, president of the Tamarack Tower Foundation.
Quinn says the proceeds raised at the event and given to the foundation are given back to the school districts in Port Chester.
