Residents at a Mount Vernon apartment complex say they have been without gas for about three months.

Luis Paulino says he sent messages to the management of 20 Roosevelt Square, but no one has given him any answers if or when his gas will go back on.  

Paulino says he's looking for a place to move.

"Come and help us. They're so quick to collect on a monthly basis. Every time I call they hang up the phone, they're very rude. They don't want to talk to us," he says.

The building’s landlord said Con Edison went to the building and found a gas leak.  The landlord said Con Edison is working on the problem, but there is no timetable.

Con Edison tells News 12 that in cases like these, it is the one that shuts off the gas, but it's up to the building's management to fix the leak so they can turn it back on.
