Republican candidate for governor Rob Astorino is continuing his quest to debate Gov. Andrew Cuomo before Election Day.

The Westchester County executive says he has called, texted and emailed the governor, all to no avail. He says he even wrote him a letter and sent him a telegram. Astorino's spokesperson says they are considering flying a banner from an airplane or even sending a singing telegram.

Some Democratic lawmakers are accusing Astorino of using his debate challenge as a way to distract voters from other issues, including failing to release five years of tax returns.
