Report: 20 Hudson Valley nursing homes get high grades, 20 are “below average”

U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-23 Best Nursing Homes ratings was released on Tuesday.

A new report says that says that 20 of the Hudson Valley’s 84 nursing homes are ranked as “high performing.”
The report also says that 20 nursing homes in the region received “below average” ratings, scoring only 1 or 2 on a 5-point scale.
Here are the nursing homes that received a 5 out of 5 rating:
•          United Hebrew Geriatric Center, New Rochelle
•          The Osborn, Rye
•          Helen Hayes Hospital RHCF, West Haverstraw
•          Kendal on Hudson, Sleepy Hollow
•          Northern Westchester Hospital TCU, Mount Kisco
•          Helen Hayes Hospital TCU, West Haverstraw
•          Montefiore Nyack Hospital TCU
Here are the nursing homes that received a 4 out of 5 rating:
•          The Willows at Ramapo Rehab and Nursing Center
•          Excel at Woodbury for Rehab and Nursing LLC
•          The Enclave at Port Chester Rehab and Nursing LLC
•          Northern Dutchess Residential Health Care Facility, Rhinebeck
•          King Street Home Inc., Port Chester
•          Bethel Nursing Home Company Inc., Ossining
•          Sapphire Nursing and Rehab at Goshen
•          Salem Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Purdys
•          White Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Woodbury
•          St. Joseph’s Place, Port Jervis
•          Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine
•          Glen Arden Inc., Goshen
