Red Cross warns of 'concerning' decline in blood donations since last month

The Red Cross say donations typically drop around this time of year as people travel more and there are fewer drives at schools.

The Red Cross says there's been a "concerning" drop in donations since last month.
It says there are 26,000 fewer donations. 
The Red Cross say donations typically drop around this time of year as people travel more and there are fewer drives at schools. 
But without donations, there isn't enough blood for emergencies, people going through cancer treatment and those with chronic illness who need transfusions.
