The number of eating disorder cases is on the rise and with it comes a new push to save lives.
Dozens of students attended a seminar at Rockland Community College to learn how dangerous eating disorders are.

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, full-blown eating disorders often begin during freshman year at school.
State Sen. David Carlucci says he recently secured $20,000 in state funding to help Rockland Jewish Family Services to help treat people with eating disorders.
