The race for the District 5 Westchester Board of Legislators seat is too close to call and is undergoing a recount.
Democratic Board Chair Bill Ryan is in a virtual dead heat with restaurant owner and former New York Giants football player Bob Hyland, a Republican.
Hyland was ahead by 44 votes after the unofficial count last week. But an error in recording the numbers from one voting machine was found and Board of Elections investigators now say Ryan is ahead by 100 votes, but the count continues.
