A doctor from Mount Kisco is accused of selling prescriptions for painkillers and other narcotics from her Putnam County medical office.
Dr. Luigia Notaristefano, known to some as "Dr. Gina," had an internal medicine practice in Putnam County. After a long undercover investigation by drug enforcement and county officials, she was arrested and charged with selling prescriptions for drugs such as Vicodin, Valium, and Suboxone.
Nortaristefano, 51, was released on $25,000 bail. She is due back in court Tuesday.
