Some pups got to enjoy themselves at the annual "Dog Days of Summer" dog swim in Hartsdale.
The dogs came together to splash around while owners watched at the Anthony F. Veteran Park Pool Sunday.
Admission for each dog was $10 with the proceeds going to Friends of the East Rumbrook Dog Park Association. "They get to run free.
You don't have them locked up, you don't have them on a leash. They get to play with everybody. And it's a social event. It really is," says dog owner Marie Menton.
This year, everyone was required to wear masks and bring their dogs in shifts to ensure social distancing guidelines were met.
