Police arrested a pregnant woman for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Somers.
Police pulled over 32-year-old Annmarie Ayers, who is seven months pregnant, on Route 100 Monday night. They say Ayers failed a field sobriety test, had a bottle of vodka in her car and was so drunk she cold barely walk. In the barracks, police claim Ayers pulled out a bottle of alcohol hidden in her shirt and started drinking.
Police say Ayers? blood alcohol content was almost four times the legal limit. She is due in court on April 10.
