Poughkeepsie police: Man accused of stealing vehicle that was left running

Poughkeepsie police say Frank Booth was arrested Wednesday after driving away in a vehicle that wasn't his. That vehicle was left running in a parking lot around 5 a.m.

A Dutchess County car thief is behind bars.
Poughkeepsie police say Frank Booth was arrested Wednesday after driving away in a vehicle that wasn't his. That vehicle was left running in a parking lot around 5 a.m.
Police pulled the stolen car over near Hoffman Avenue, and the 29-year-old ran off.
He tried to resist arrest but was successfully taken into custody.
According to police, Booth was arrested on Dec. 9 for stealing a different car.
He's been turned over to state police on outstanding warrants.
