There is some good news in Westchester County regarding the fight against the coronavirus.
The number of active coronavirus cases has dropped 10% over the last few days.
"We now have 8,955 active cases; that is the first time that we've dipped below 9,000 cases in a number of weeks," says Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
Latimer says while those numbers are on the decline, he is not ruling out the possibility of a second wave or a surge in cases if people do not remain vigilant.
