People took a stand against bigotry and prejudice in Port Chester.
An interfaith vigil was held at Lyon Park Gazebo on Tuesday to show support for the community and every person in it.
Organizers urged others to come together in love and peace and stand together to denounce senseless hatred.
The group also remembered Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old woman who was killed during a protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.
