Police: Yonkers teen pulls gun on bus riders
Police are searching for a teenager who allegedly threatened children with a gun aboard a Bee-Line bus in Yonkers Tuesday.
According to unconfirmed reports, some children on the bus taunted the 16-year-old suspect and sprayed him with a substance similar to Silly String. That is when, police say, the teen pulled out a handgun and threatened the students and possibly the bus driver after he called 911. No shots were fired.
Police officers scoured the Yonkers Riverfront Library in search of the teenager after the bus pulled over near Dock Street in downtown Yonkers.
The driver of the bus explained the suspect's behavior as being out of character. So far, no arrests have been made.
