A Yonkers man is behind bars this morning, accused of murdering his mother.
Investigators say Dawne McCray, 50, was fatally stabbed multiple times in her apartment in the Schlobohm Houses on Shroeder Street.
Her son, Andre Coverdale, 27, told police he was homeless. He's now in the Westchester County Jail.
Yonkers police have not yet released a motive for the crime. They say they are looking for any other possible suspects.
