A Yonkers woman who police say fatally stabbed the father of her child was arraigned Monday and released to an anger management and substance abuse program.

Police allege Chanelle Ronae Franklin, 33, stabbed Khalif Kennedy, 41, with a kitchen knife around 10:30pm Saturday night. Kennedy was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Officers arrested Franklin at the scene.

Police say the incident appears to have been a domestic dispute. Franklin and Kennedy have a child together, officials said.

Franklin is charged with manslaughter.
