It occurred near 477 London Road around 11 a.m.
A 28-year-old Town of Yorktown employee was working in the area when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
He a transported to Hudson Valley Hospital where he died of his injuries.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
