Police stepped up security at Irvington Middle School this morning after an alleged student threat.

School officials say a threat was made to the high school and middle school campuses.

They brought in police and investigators to determine that the threats were not credible.

Officials say they will continue to have a beefed up police presence at the school as a precautionary measure.
