12h agoPolice say a Syracuse man was issued 34 tickets following a pursuit on state Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill.
A trooper was patrolling Route 17 on May 1 when he observed a white Mercedes traveling west at a high rate of speed.
The trooper tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver, later identified as 23-year old Ronaldo Depass, refused.
Depass stopped at Beverly Drive, where he then fled on foot and was eventually taken into custody.
Depass reached a speed of 130 mph.
