Police in Orange continued their search Wednesday for a former teacher who went missing nearly two weeks ago.
News 12 was there Wednesday morning as federal and local authorities joined New Windsor police to search a wooded area behind the Hudson Valley Hotel off Route 17K in Newburgh for any sign of Jessica Lopez.

The 36-year-old was last seen early Nov. 3 at the Windsor Motel. Her car was found days later, abandoned in a parking lot miles away.
"We are doing everything we possibly can now -especially for the past several days - to locate Lopez. It's an absolute priority for us and her family and her friends so we are hoping that will be able to find her soon,” says New Windsor Police Chief Robert Doss.
Police say Lopez hasn't used her cellphone or credit cards since she disappeared.
Anyone with information is asked to call the New Windsor Police Department.
