Police: Scammers targeting people on Facebook with fake merchandise
They say scammers have been fraudulently posting and advertising the sale of merchandise with the Town of Haverstraw Police Department logo on the apparel.

fraudulently posting and advertising the sale of merchandise with the Town of
Haverstraw Police Department logo on the apparel.
These posts have been made in the comment portion of legitimate
posts on the police Facebook page.
These posts appear to have been spam and since been removed. If
you have any questions regarding the legitimacy of a comment or post, please contact police.
Police
say the spam has been taken down but stand guard.
