The search is on for a suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of a 45-year-old man in Mount Vernon.

According to police, the victim and a male suspect got into a fight in an apartment building on West First Street. Police say when they arrived, the victim was in critical condition with stab wounds to the neck and throat. He later died.

Police say they are looking at different angles, but believe the stabbing may have been a domestic incident. The fight is believed to have been between a teenage boy, his mother and her boyfriend.

Neither the victim?s or suspect?s names have been released.
