Police probe deaths of 2 people in Mt. Hope
Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman who were discovered Thursday in a trailer home they shared on Mount Hope Road.
Authorities say Wayne Wilson, 68, and his 48-year-old girlfriend, Vicky Standish, were found days after they died. Their bodies show no obvious signs of physical trauma.
On Thursday, neighbors along Mt. Hope Road noticed a foul smell coming from the couple's trailer. The owner of the property came by to check up on his tenants and found Standish's body in the living room. Authorities later found Wilson's body. Police are calling the deaths suspicious.
Alex Mydosh, of Otisville, knew the couple since he was a child and says their deaths come as a shock to him. He says Wilson leaves behind a son and a daughter.
Autopsies were performed Friday on Wilson's and Standish's bodies, but their results were inconclusive. Police are still awaiting toxicology tests.
