Police officer charged in Suffern
A police officer in Rockland County is on the other side of the law this morning.
Officials say Lance Weinstein was arrested yesterday after he violated a court order to stay at least 500 feet from his ex-wife.
Weinstein has worked for the Suffern Police Department for more than 20 years. He has been on injury leave since 2014.
He is expected to appear in court on Feb. 16.
