Police: NJ man charged with DWI after driving wrong way in Sloatsburg

A New Jersey  man was arrested Saturday morning for alleged drunken driving in Sloatsburg.
Police say 22-year-old Sergio Rodriguez was driving the wrong way on the southbound lanes of Route 17 at 5:30 a.m.
Rodriguez almost hit a police car head on but the officer was able to swerve out of the way, according to police.
Authorities say Rodriguez stopped when he got a flat tire.
Rodriguez was then taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated.
