Police say a man was fatally shot inside a Kingston home early Saturday morning.

They say 47-year-old Romero Underwood was shot inside 52 St. James St. around 5 a.m.

Police say he was transported to HealthAlliance Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing but that it appears that it was not a random act. They say the victim may have been involved in a dispute.
