Police: Man exposes himself to woman on Tarrytown trail

<p>Police are looking for a man they say exposed himself to a woman who was running through a Tarrytown trail. Police were called to the area of Neperan Road and Sunnyside Avenue earlier this week.&nbsp;</p>

Police are looking for a man they say exposed himself to a woman who was running through a Tarrytown trail.
Police were called to the Tarrytown Lakes fitness trail near Neperan Road and Sunnyside Avenue earlier this week. They say not only was the man performing a lewd act, but he was also completely naked.
According to officials, a woman walking along the trail spotted the man, who continued with his lewd actions even after realizing the woman has seen him.
The woman says the man then recovered some clothing from the ground and ran down the trail into a wooded area.
Westchester County Police, along with Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow police and their aviation and K-9 units, conducted a search throughout the area.
Officials say they did spot the suspect running away at one point but then lost him.
Officers were able to recover and secure evidence from the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and around 20 to 30 years old. They say once he recovered his clothes he was wearing black pants and a black sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
