Police say a man is under arrest after a stabbing Saturday night in the Town of Warwick.

Police say it happened at a home on Feagles Road just before 10 p.m.

They say it began as a fight between two family members and that a 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times when he tried to intervene.

When police arrived to the scene, they arrested Peter Fazio.

The 32-year-old is facing assault and weapon possession charges, both violent felonies based on prior convictions.

The victim is in stable condition.
