Police in New Rochelle are investigating a late-night, drive-by shooting that happened outside a New Rochelle deli Wednesday.
Witnesses say a group of men was standing outside the #1 American Deli when it happened. Police say the shots could have been aimed at the men.
According to police, six to eight shots were fired just after 11 p.m. on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Brook Street. Police say two cars sped away down Lincoln Avenue.
No one was injured in the shooting, and deli workers were not able to provide any information about what happened outside the store.
As of now, there is no description of any possible suspects seen driving away and no leads in the case.
Police are urging anyone with information to step forward.
