A driver and his passenger were killed when the car they were traveling in collided with a carting truck on Boston Post Road early Saturday morning in Mamaroneck.
The car smashed full speed into the truck, which was making a left turn into the parking lot of Mamaroneck High School.
Police say that 17-year-old Omar Ayala and 20-year-old Rolando Oliveros, were pronounced dead at the scene on Boston Post Road.
Police say the driver of the truck was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center for an evaluation.
News 12 is told that police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
"You see something like this and you just feel sad, but you also feel angry," says Mamaroneck resident Joe Goran. "I took a picture of it to show my kids that when you drive fast and drive stupid, things like this can happen."
