Police help deliver baby in Baldwin home

Officials got a call just before 8 p.m. Sunday about a woman who was in labor at her home.

Officials say police officers aided in a baby delivery in Baldwin.
Officials got a call just before 8 p.m. Sunday about a woman who was in labor at her home.
Police tell News 12 when they arrived, she was showing signs of an imminent birth. 
With the help of officers and police medics, a healthy baby girl was delivered at 8:15 p.m.
The mother and the new born baby were then taken to the hospital for treatment.
