Police found a newborn baby abandoned in Yorktown Saturday night.
Reports say the baby, only a few hours old, was left on a doorstep. Police say the newborn was wrapped in a plastic bag with a note asking anyone to take it to the hospital. The mother of the child could face charges if found.
The baby is currently in good condition at the Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt.
