A driver who left the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Greenburgh was arrested. The incident took place in the area of 177 East Hartsdale Ave., according to authorities. Traffic was closed off between that area and Rockledge Road for most of Saturday afternoon as police conducted the investigation. Those roads have since been reopened. Some residents say they were surprised by the increased police. “There are never any accidents. We're actually happy to see it all clear out,” said a resident.
